Meet the Team

Our volunteers come from all walks of life and are ready to serve the community. Some are fulfilling a life-long dream of working in the fire service while others come to us having spent many years in other careers. The team is Led by Fire Chief Chris Terry who had a long standing 30 year career in the fire service. When Chief Terry moved to Sunshine he was pulled out of retirement and enthusiastically stepped into the role as Fire Chief. By his side and leading this diverse team is Deputy Chief Aaron Harris and Deputy Chief Brian Taylor. 

Each member brings their unique set of experiences to the Valley. These individuals spend their time learning, working and training together. Members are on-call 24/7 which is a huge time commitment on their part. While they receive no pay for their service, what they do receive is the inner satisfaction of being their in times of need, when people are at their most vulnerable. Being able to help, for many, is payment enough.
